Vapour pressure deficit (VPD)
The vapour pressure deficit (VPD) is the
difference in pressure between the greenhouse air and the stomata of the leaf.
The vapour pressure deficit sum (VPD sum)
is the cumulative vapour pressure deficit and thus a measure of the
transpiration during a time period.
